“Together for tolerance – with each other, for each other” is a project that focuses on social relationships in schools. In the project, we would like to explore the following: What is everyday life like for children and teenagers inside and outside of school? To what extent do classmates influence each other in terms of their behavior, but also in the way they form their opinions? We want to support the students in creating a tolerant environment at school for everyone – no matter what background or opinion.
An ethics committee at the University of Osnabrück has evaluated the project and declared it to be ethically acceptable.
Our research is conducted in accordance with the regulations of the German Research Foundation (DFG) and the German Society for Psychology (DGP).
The research project takes place in cooperation with the Radicalization Awareness Network of the European Commission. It is supported by the State Prevention Council of Lower Saxony and is implemented in cooperation with the Lower Saxony Association of Education Initiatives..
